At this early date the support for our major fundraising event “THE PARTY WITH A PURPOSE” has been great. As I wrote this article on January 10th, we already have over 40 reservations.
Reservations to date have been made with me or members of the Foundation Board but we will make arrangements for you to make reservations directly with the club. We will also be sending out invitations well in advance of the event.
Your participation helps us continue our programs including our very successful summer camp sailing program, supporting other 501 C3 charitable organizations with mission statements like ours, providing and maintaining waterfront amenities for your use at no cost to you.
Of course, we have a wish list for 2024 in addition to our ongoing programs which include:
*An additional Boston Whaler Coaches Boat for the Sailing Program
*Additional improvements to our new Sailing Center
*A storage facility to preserve and safeguard our waterfront equipment.
*Creating a Crew Program (Rowing)
*Additional features for adults and an after-school program.
Our ongoing efforts not only enhance our club experience but present additional amenities for prospective members and provide services to the community as a whole.
