CRYC Foundation Log Article – April 2022

The Foundation is proud to announce that we are offering another summer sailing camp in cooperation with the city of Fort Lauderdale. The camp will be held at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club Sailing and Watersports Center. There will be four 2-week sessions to choose from on the following dates: *Camp starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM every day. As I write, the Party with a Purpose is just three weeks away, reminding me of our first event and ourgoal of 50 guests. We did reach our goal and held a very successful event in the CommodoresLounge, and we have seen it grow over the years. We set a very lofty goal of 150 guests for theParty this year and with three weeks to go we already have 133

The Foundation Day was held at the Pointe, Sunrise Bay and the Sailing Center on February 1and was a big hit. Participants enjoyed the Scuba for Good Diving, using the Foundation WaterToys, Sailing and Sailing Instruction and what I thought was the highlight of the day, TheRegatta with our kids and the St. Marks kids.
